News of சென்னை is a citizen service (social media handles + website) that aims to empower Chennai residents and visitors by providing essential, verified information in times of need. The open-source website offers quick access to a range of verified helplines, practical guides, city resources, and action-oriented suggestions relevant to Chennai. The goal is to promote meaningful awareness among citizens by consolidating all necessary verified information in one convenient place.
At the bottom of each page or helpline on the website, a footnote indicates the date of the most recent update. The goal is to update the website frequently. Along with adding new verified information, outdated or irrelevant content will also be regularly removed.
No ads, no promotions — this will always remain a citizen service.
